Level 4 - Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA®)

The minimum level qualification required to become a financial adviser, as laid down by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

DipFA comprises six modules:

Module 1: Financial Services Regulation and Ethics (FSRE)
Module 2: Advanced Financial Advice – Taxation
Module 3: Advanced Financial Advice – Investment
Module 4: Advanced Financial Advice – Protection
Module 5: Advanced Financial Advice – Retirement Planning
Module 6: Advanced Financial Advice – Coursework

Level 3 - Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®)


The Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®) meets the education standard required by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for anyone wishing to achieve a ‘licence to practise’ and work as a mortgage adviser.)

CeMap comprises three modules:

Module 1: UK Regulation
Module 2: Mortgages
Module 3: Assessment of Mortgage Advice Knowledge


Level 3 - Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®)

The Certificate in Regulated Equity Release (CeRER®) meets the education standard required by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for anyone wishing to achieve a ‘licence to practise’ and work as an equity release adviser

The minimum level qualification required to become a financial adviser, as laid down by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

CeRER comprises two modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Equity Release
Module 2: Equity Release Solutions
